Request for bids - Electrical contract

The Town of Gay is requesting bids for electrical work to be done at City Hall at 19125 Hwy in Gay. We need electric in the storage/garage area to operate garage doors, provide light and wall receptacles and one receptacle inside city hall for wall mounted TV. Available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for walk through 9am-4pm.

Sealed bids required by 8/30/2024, proof of insurance and must be licensed by the State of Georgia.

PUBLIC HEARING – MIL RATE

The Town of Gay will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Community Building located at 19125 Highway 85 in Gay. This meeting is allow questions or comments regarding the Mil Rate used to determine the amount of property taxes. The mil rate will be set at the next Council meeting on September 9, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.

On November 7, 2024 at 7:00 pm the Town of Gay will conduct a public hearing for the purpose of hearing public comments on the two proposed ordinance before the town council.
